Street Cars Heat up Las Vegas

undreds of the quickest drag racers in the West
arrived in Las Vegas last weekend for the 2nd
Annual Innovative Turbo/BW-AirWerks Memorial
Weekend Shootout. The hot Pacific Street Car
Association (PSCA) event featured 10 classes
of drag racing, as well as two night-time burnout
contests and a vendor's alley.
 Innovative
Turbo Systems of Simi Valley, CA, teamed up
with BW-AirWerks, the new aftermarket forced-air
technology program from BorgWarner Turbo Systems,
as title sponsors of last weekend's showdown,
held May 24-25, 2003, at The Strip at Las Vegas
Motor Speedway.
"BW-AirWerks and the PSCA are a natural combination, since nearly all of the Pacific Street Car Association classes encourage the use of turbochargers," said Thom Miles, marketing manager, aftermarket division of BorgWarner Turbo Systems North America.
