B&M'S COMPOSITE X STREET BANDIT
SHIFTER
The
Composite X Street Bandit is a modernized rendition of B&M's
street-proven Magnum Grip Street Bandit. Based on the reliable
internals of the Street Bandit's gate-style shifting mechanism,
the Composite X has been designed to handle extreme shifting
for most two, three or four speed automatic.
Made from genuine carbon fiber, the Composite X's new exterior
saves weight while adding a fresh style to muscle cars,
street rods and street/strip machines. In addition to the
carbon fiber body, the shifter's stick has been machined
from billet aluminum and anodized black to match the flush
mounted carbon fiber inserts.
The Composite X Street Bandit's narrow design is great
for applications where a limited amount of space is available
and a rear exit cable can be utilized. Each shift has a
positive feel and assures you proper gear selection during
any driving situation. For more information, visit www.bmracing.com
Q-SERIES CARBURETOR
Quick
Fuel Technology now offers a redesigned and refined version
of their popular Q-series race carburetor. The updated carb
benefits from improved flow characteristics, Teflon®-coated
throttle shafts that reduce throttle effort and prevent
wear, and dual anti-frosting site glass. The Q-Series is
assembled with four-stage billet metering blocks, a billet
throttle body, stainless steel throttle plates and screws,
and is compatible with all conventional modular-carburetor
service components. The main body and float bowls have a
bright tumbled finish and a clear chromate coating for protection.
Another Quick Fuel innovation is aluminum float bowls that
decrease weight by 1/2 of a pound and repositions the fuel
bowl screws to obtain 40% more thread engagement. Stripped
fuel bowl screws are a thing of the past with the Q-Series.
