DETROIT TRUETRAC LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL FOR FORD

Detroit Locker Company announces that the Detroit Truetrac limited slip differential is now available for 1983-present Ford 7.5” axles. This Model (#912A316) will fit 28 Spline axles with all Axle Ratios and it fits C-Clip axles.

The Detroit Truetrac performs like an open differential under normal driving conditions and automatically transfers torque to the wheel with better traction when ground conditions call for it. Because of the helical gear design, there are no clutches, cones or friction plates to wear out and no friction modifier to add.

MAN O'WAR 5.0 FORD BLOCK

World Products, in collaboration with leading Ford racers and professional engine builders, has developed block for 289/302/351 applications. The Man O'War block is available with deck heights of 8.2, 8.7, 9.2 and 9.5 inches. This allows it to be configured to virtually any small block Ford cylinder head/intake combination. It can safely be bored to 4.200" and has bottom-end clearance for a 4.250" stroke crankshaft —giving a potential displacement of 470 cubic inches.

Features include two extra bolts per cylinder (a bonus for supercharged applications), provisions to cross-feed lifter galleys, and .500" oil passages. World’s Man O'War accepts all stock Ford internal components.

"MAX-G" CHASSIS FOR UNIBODY VEHICLES

AME’s new “Max-G” chassis makes it easy for anyone with a ‘60s or ‘70s era Muscle Car to enjoy the benefits of contemporary suspension technology.

The chassis is CAD-engineered for the specific year, make and model car —plus designed to provide the builder’s desired ride height and stance. There’s a choice of a C5 Corvette (on some applications) or tubular A-arm front suspension, with a triangulated 4-bar setup in the rear for both traction control and lateral stability.

Installing the Max-G chassis is accomplished by cutting away the vehicle’s floorboard and “dropping” the body over the frame. Steering is handled by either a 15:1 or 20:1 AGR power rack.
