GET WITH THE PROGRAM
Burk, they do have a Pro Stock class that does giant wheelstands every lap. It's called the Hemi Challenge. But you know what they say: going up... is NOT going forward.

…BUT YOU CAN’T MAKE HIM DRINK
If only NHRA would listen to you and the sportsman racers. They do what they want no matter what the masses may think. However until racers quit showing up, things will not change.

ALL THE WAY IS THE ONLY WAY
I agree with the super class cars needs to be something done. I have a car that is capable of running in super street but when they have a good 20 + mph on someone like me that doesn’t use a throttle stop. Those cars with bigger motors that have to be throttle stopped back should move up in classes such as super gas or super comp to eliminate the stops use and level out the field. I can’t afford to even try to race like in that capacity because of cost associated with the big motors. I think that with those classes, it should be all out than slowing up for a second and then hit wide open. I always have a hard time explaining that to someone that hasn’t been to the track.

GREAT MINDS
Once again, Jeffster... you and I seem to be on the same page! Give them 100%, one mag, and traction control and let's see what happens, my friend!

PREACH IT
Morning Jeff
I was just wondering
What would happen if NHRA threw out all the performance rules for the Nitro classes and ran an eighth of a mile? 99% nitro, and every kind of gadget (except computer controlled during the run) you can think of. Wouldn't that let the crew chiefs be more creative and I would bet we would see 300 mph (eighth mile) in less than two years... Like you said, louder, more powerful, and much less expensive for the teams, quicker clean-up times, and most importantly, a three second explosion for the fans.
I would pay big money to go to that show!
