TRAILER TOAD TOWING DEVICE

Heavy tongue weights cause frames to flex, even with extra bracing, and this leads to side wall flex and problems with slide-outs on motor homes. Motor homes and trucks with heavy tongue weights end up light on the front tires under braking causing control problems when stopping and less control in strong crosswinds. The heavy tongue weights are transferred to suspension components and tires. This could lead to premature failure of tires from overloading and early suspension failures.

The Trailer Toad responds to these problems by actually carrying the tongue weight and keeping it off the rear of the tow vehicle. The patented design, suspended torsion axle and E-rated radial trailer tires are capable of handling up to 3,000 lbs. of tongue weight and gross trailer weights in excess of 17,000 lbs.

The patented pivoting rear axle actually "steers" and follows the tow vehicle, which dramatically reduces sway and prevents the Trailer Toad tires from scuffing in turns. The support of the Trailer Toad means the ABS braking system on the tow vehicle will perform as designed and the rear suspension and tires will not be overloaded since they carry no additional weight. To back up, simply attach the Reverse Bar to three pins to lock the axle, and the trailer backs up as usual.

The Trailer Toad installs into the existing receiver hitch on the tow vehicle and adds only two feet to overall length of trailer and tow vehicle. No special hitches or modifications are required.

FAST LSX 92mm Intake Manifold

For both street and racing applications, the intake manifold is an easy bolt-on installation for GM Gen III (LS1, -2 & -6) engines and is designed to work with the new FAST Big Mouth Throttle Body. In an effort to improve on the previously successful LSX Intake Manifold introduced three years ago, the 92mm manifold has received a host of feedback-driven refinements and a larger throttle opening to match the newly released FAST Big Mouth 92mm throttle body.

The new FAST LSX 92mm Intake Manifold maintains the performance gains achieved over stock intake manifolds with no loss in drivability or low rpm torque. While the new FAST intake manifold delivers terrific performance right out of the box, it can be ported by the customer for even more flow. VIXION X 35 WATT HID LIGHT

Just coming off the production line is Vision X’s brand new HID 4500 Series 35 Watt HID Light. This new compact HID light debuts several new features including:

  • A new multi-surface reflector that allows more true light through by utilizing the latest in reflector technology to eliminate the need for a fluted lens.
  • New 35 watt ballast technology with reduced amperage draw and a reduced startup time. Drawing just 5 amps at startup for a duration of 7 seconds versus 8 to 9 amps for 30 seconds.
  • These new ballasts also feature an important upgrade, which allows input voltage of 9 to 32 volts DC, so they can run on 12 and 24 volt applications without any additional modifications.

The 4500 series HID lights will be available in “Euro”, Flood, and Spot beam patterns. The 4500 lights feature a 5” round lens, and a reduced mounting depth of 2.41”, as compared with 3.4” on the 6500 and 8500 lights.
