Absolutely the worst part of NHRA racing is 1,000 feet. There is no history to the sport anymore PLUS one heck of a lot goes on past 1,000 feet.

GEEZ, when are people going to start listening to the fans? The cost is also a factor but people will always complain about money first! Therefore..., feet is your answer!

Not sure of cost of event now; 10 years ago it didn’t matter. What I do know.

1.) Boring seems driver does not do much.

     - need dry hops, 2 or 3 who cares if they go past start line.

2.) Need more teams 2 cars max per team.

     - sponsors could share 2 or 3 teams.

3.) Name the cars.

4.) Body on funny car has to resemble factory.

5.) Divisional races, a guy mentioned divisional points to go to World Finals, cars can run out of division for no points, gotta pick one, spoiler? Be great.

6.) Gosh qualifying for a race would be cool, Saturdays once again would be better than race day, see a lot more cars.

7.) Got to go a quarter mile. Probably gotta take clutch disc out and 1 mag, they gotta have 1 superduper mag by now where it would not be to awful. Control cost for more teams. Smart guys will still be quickest. Good driver will still get there first. Probably a lot of them out there that can drive like a Ray Stutz or Walt Roads that can make up that little bit, be cool.

8.) Get rid of Super Comp. What the hell was going on there when I seen them 10 plus years ago.

9.) Comp eliminator great class, should be a 32-car show.

10.) Bring back Pro Comp. Great class while it lasted, this would be a great 32-car show.

Drag racing used to be pretty good, now the nostalgia dragsters have rear end weird, no slingshot look and funny car bodies are getting stupid. Can’t fix stupid.

Thanks,

Mark Wallace

* Admission cost.

* 1000’ for fuel cars is a joke.

* Fuel cars are too fast/quick.

* Fuel engines warming up in pits is weak.

* Funny car bodies have no relation to actual model.
