ADRL PX World Champ Bubba Stanton took the 18-71 Roots-blown Henson Motorsports Widow Maker ’63 Stingray to a 3.95/183.14 blast on this pass against Rickie Smith’s nitrous-aided 4.11/177.40 but still struggled with his own refrigerator-white N2O ‘Vette which managed only a 4.88/109.

The ADRL’s first, (and only), Xtreme 10.5 winner so far made more headlines at MMP; Rod Rosensteil’s insane blown ‘70 Opel GT clocked a 4.46 at an ungodly 175.47 mph to come within two miles per hour of Tim Lynch’s all-time speed record. Michael Neal earned ‘Bama Burnout King honors after strapping into Tom Ashley’s revamped ‘67 Nova now trimmed for X10.5 action. Considering the car started life as a Pro Street rig, it’s 4.42/167 Low ET pace wasn’t entirely unexpected.
