Dan Clark (shown) won the season championship on his REPSOL/Motorcycle Stuff/Dynamo Cycles‘82 Suzuki GS1100. He bested Louisiana no-bar ET specialist Patrick Chabaud and his Naarden Kawasaki ZX14 for the title.

Street ET

Dynamo Cycles Street ET showcased the largest field of the event. At the end of the day it was Ventress’s Shaun Bizette with an .047 bulb and 8.977 on his 8.98 dial to take the double breakout win over Bobby David in an all-Kawasaki final.

Allen Singleton of Humble, Texas locked in the Dynamo Cycles Street ET points lead for the championship, and was also surprised to get the unannounced award as 2007-08 Racer Supporter. Allen was the one racer who attended every Hurricane Alley race during the 2007-08 season.

Stock ET

The two highest dial-ins from round 1 of Brock’s Performance Stock ET were matching
12.25s, and slow was the way to go as both these riders met in the final. Jeanerette’s Lonnie Guillotte chopped the tree on his SV650 and took the win when Covingon’s Kenneth

Bickham broke out trying to catch Guillotte’s 12.271.

Pro Street

Todd John came close with an 8.046, but only Jason Coffey (shown) had 7-second runs in the Pro Street exhibition class. Their performances led to a John vs. Coffey, Louisiana vs. Texas final, with both riders on turbo ‘Busas. John took the tree, but Coffey took the stripe with an 8.107 to claim the win for Texas.
