None of the John Force Racing team funny car juggernaught were rewarded with what they were looking for at the ACDelco Gatornationals. However, the Pro Stock Motorcycle class got way more than it bargained for in its opener from winner Matt Guidera, who joined Tony Schumacher, Tony Pedregon, and Jeg Coughlin in the winners circle.

JFR landed four Ford Mustangs in the Funny Car field of 16, three in the top half and the Don Schumacher camp qualified three cars, but in the end the winners came from much smaller teams. Ironically though, two former JFR team drivers Tony Pedregon and Gary Densham raced for the $40,000 payout at Gainesville Raceway.
