Two of the most prolific Ford bracket racers in the country met in the Mod Comp finals. Jon Pickering (far lane) was able to run down Will McKay for the win and further solidify his bid for the 2008 season championship.

Randy Westmoreland of Sherman, AR was behind the wheel of this unique 1971 Dodge Demon with twin truck mounted turbochargers. The team qualified in the middle of the pack with a 4.756 at 162.24, but was forced to withdraw after a blown head gasket caused a fire during the final round of qualifying.
