Dave Connolly wasn't able to run down Jason Line in Sunday's first Pro Stock round, but he did qualify Kenny Koretsky's Nitro Fish Dodge for the SummitRacing.com Nationals after watching from the sidelines a week ago at Houston.

"We got in the show and we got to play a bit," said Connolly. "We were getting runs down the race track but we just didn't get any data because we had computer problems. Pro Stock is tough enough without issues like that."

Greg Anderson set The Strip track speed record at 206.70 mph in qualifying. He defeated V. Gaines and Larry Morgan, before bowing to Greg Stanfield in the semi. Warren Johnson had fallen to Stanfield in the quarterfinals.

Mike Edwards set the track E.T. record with a 6.656, but cut it a little too close in the quarterfinal, turning on the red light.
