Garrett Bateman’s Mustang (above) beat the Chevy-powered Camaro of Steve Nichols tuned by Ray Zeller. The Mustang carded a 5.877/237.58-mph charge to the Mill Road Boy’s left lane 6.246/227.04 -ph run.

Kris Krabill in Gary Turner’s “Pedaler” received a bye run when Jim Adolph sat out the round with Krabill running a 6.005 elapsed time. 

Mark Sanders topped Josh Crawford’s new Mustang with the “Mr. Explosive” Nova running 6.047 to Crawford’s 8.046.	John Powers drove his “Powers Steel” Camaro to a 6.271 ET, defeating Sean Dale’s “Revolution” Challenger with a shut-off 10.08.

To close out round one, Leah Pruett-LeDuc made a starting line stage and rolled forward with a wounded “Holy Toledo” Jeep when Mark Halstead missed the call to the lanes.
