DRO is privileged to have what I believe are some the best drag racing photographers in the sports history contributing to the magazine. We are privileged to have Jon Van Daal from Australia, and Dr. Ivan Sansom and his companion Rose from England as contributors.  Here in the states staffers Todd Dziadosz, Tim Marshall, James Drew, Ron Lewis and Mark Rebilas deliver images from their own with unique perspective regularly. All of these lensmen and women are real artists with their camera. I think our photographer artists on a par with any I have ever seen.

Recently second generation photographer Mark Rebilas and DRO senior photographer Ron Lewis have sent us photo essays from NHRA races that just blew us away. So I have decided to devote space in the mag to photo essays to showcase and share their work with our readers.

Beginning with this issue of DRO we are going to publish their photos when our photographers send us their work as a stand alone photo essay. I hope you enjoy these photographer artists’ work as much as we do.
