A frustrating season for defending Nitrolymp’X champion Micke Kagered appears to have turned around now that the Bacho Tools crew have traced the ignition problems that have been a blight at earlier events. A third qualifying 4.916 gave him lane choice over Lex Joon and a semi-final spot was secured with a 5.04 after the Dutchman went up in smoke. Kagered’s reverse gear failed to engage after the burnout resulting in a hot pushback for the team members and then a loss as the blower belt spat off whilst alongside Carter.
