Current IHRA Division 5 Super Stock champion, TOC world championship, and Summit All Stars contender Alex Denysenko will start out the 2010 season racing at the 50th NHRA Winternationals. Alex will compete in Stock eliminator behind the wheel of the NPD (National Parts Depot) sponsored and Murakami brothers owned 10-second 428 Cobra Jet-powered 1969 Ford Mustang.

The 335 HP engine factored to 380 HP built by the Murakami brothers Earl and Kay, has internals from Comp Cams, J&E, Crane, Crower, Ford Racing, MSD, ATI, Manley, & Milodon. Fuel system by Aeromotive and Holley. Everything is monitored by AutoMeter gauges. C-4 transmission and converter is by JPT of Eaton Rapids Michigan. The chassis is engineered by Moneymaker Racing using Calvert Racing, Strange Engineering, and Opentracker components exclusively.

Co-crew chiefs Tony Denysenko and Alex's fiancé, Beth Kieffer, will split duties between pre-season testing in Las Vegas and the Winternationals. NPD will also continue sponsoring Alex and Moneymaker Racing's Super Stock ‘65 Mustang throughout the 2010 season.
