It wasn't until the semis that we saw a good side by side run, when Gentile's turbo 'Stang faced off against Ed Thornton. Gentile had the best RT at .029 to Thornton’s .062, and the two cars stayed separated exactly like that through the 1320. Gentile ran a 6.260 @ 230.33 mph over a game Ed Thornton's 6.683 @ 217.84 mph.

The track really seemed to come around as the other semi featured Mihovetz vs Maggio, and it was an awesome race with Maggio pulling out a surprise win over the 2008 Champion: Mihovetz's 6.450 @ 230.41 mph over the Maggio's slower 6.620 @ 195.53 mph.

Inclement weather forced the finals to be postponed until the next PSCA race, which will be the first weekend in May at LVMS.
