At the end of the day it wasn’t the quickest nor the fastest qualifier that took home the trophy but instead a racer who has made a habit of ending up in the ADRL winner’s circle, Ohio Ford racer Brian Gahm. Gahm added one more to his collection of seven Minuteman trophies with a solid win over number-13 qualifier Gary Goforth in the Pro Stock final.

Gahm ran between a 4.100 and a 4.112 to wade through the ultra-tough field. On the other side of the ladder Goforth was constantly slower with ET’s in the 4.12 range. In the end his 4.120 final wasn’t enough to even give Gahm some competition as he ran a 4.106 to easily cover.  To add insult to injury, Gahm left first by almost two-hundredths of a second.
