OPEN COMP

With over 40 entries in this class it was a racer’s race with Steve Pramov’s little S/G style Vega turning in a .401 for the #1 spot. It was Doug Crumlich and his black Vette from Irvine using a tremendous reaction time of .005 on his 8.61 dial as he ran 8.657 to just defeat Jordan Jahnke at 10.232 on his 10.20 dial. He and crew chief Rick Jaeger are tough in bracket racing or Super Gas.

MUSTANG MADDNESS

A very popular class in PSCA racing is the all Ford Mustang class called Mustang Maddness. Scott Dool was the #1 guy during the qualifying at .402 but went out in round one. In our final magazine guy Paul Huizenga faced off with Paul Wolfe’s’ 65 Stang. Huizenga had trouble staging his ride so it was Wolfe’s classic ride all the way at 10.538.

TROPHY CLASS

In a basic bracket class of dial in your own time 69 years young Jim Yanders in his 2002 Camaro left on Rick Emanuel’s nova and that’s all he needed as Yanders swept the Trophy honors at 13.167 ove Ricks 12.13

BRACKET #1

It was all Nevada in the Bracket #1 racing as a whole bunch of these guys were on hand like open Comp. Scott Horsley and his beautiful ‘55 was #1 qualifier at a .502. Justin Lamb, who has now won a bunch of races not only in bracket racing but on the NHRA National tour, was not to be denied here either as his very fast and quick dragster won over fellow Henderson, Nev., racer Walter Shupe and his awesome Camaro.
