AA/FD racer Troy Green and AA/FC pilot Shawn Bowen had themselves a day to remember during final eliminations of the Goodguys 9th annul Blue Suede Cruise at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, OH, as both young guns took home their first ever Goodguys event wins and set new track records in the process.

The entire weekend was memorable with the sights and sounds of thousands of hot rods coming together with vintage dragsters at America’s Race Track. Throw in an exhibition appearance from “Big Daddy” Don Garlits and his nitro burning, tire smoking “Swamp Rat” 1968-era dragster, along with the first ever appearance of Nostalgia Pro Stock at a Goodguys event, and you have a complete picture of what the Blue Suede Cruise is all about.
