The unique turboed 2.3 litre Toyota powered T bucket altered of Darryl Marsh is caught with the front wheels up and qualified 21st in the 25 car field with an 8.526. Unfortunately the snappy little altered didn’t return for race day.

The turboed 632 Ford powered Mustang of Rob Campisi was the top qualifier in a field of 66 Super Sedans with a 6.497/232.79 blast in qualifying. The car however didn’t make it back for eliminations which was a real shame.	Enio Marocco’s 400 Chevrolet powered Holden Gemini was caught lifting its skirts in qualifying. His qualifying time of 9.32 put him about midway in the 66 car field. Unfortunately for the maroon sedan driver, he red lighted in his first round race with Jasmine Fowler and ended his day early.

The three day Nationals event saw a small number of oil downs and as part of the Harley Davidson on track entertainment various cars and bikes were bought out on to the burnout pad and return road to entertain the crowd. This little Toyota Corolla tried a bit too hard when taking his turn to entertain.
