Jeff Benham

The second qualifying session saw six of the ten entries get into the fours. Randy Rencher was able to muster a 4.78 @ 130.62 after missing the first run, having to patch a hole in the oil pan of the Money Shot that was the result of catching the drain plug on the trailer ramp when unloading the car. Eric Clark slotted in at number four after running an early shut off 4.38 @126.02. This was the first event for the Clack Brothers team with their recently acquired former Hell Hoss 67 blown Mustang.
