Finals

Eric Clark’s semi final win also turned out to be the run that handed the team their first Texas Automatic Outlaw victory in the debut of their new ride. Eric Stubbs’ engine damage was too severe to repair and he could not have made the final round call, so the second semi was the final of the event.

The Clark Brothers Mustang will get a fresh look over the winter and with the massive power sitting between the frame rails they will be a serious title contender next year.

The season long championship was long ago decided as Greg Green parlayed three wins and a runner-up finish early in the year to take the title amassing 438 points. Gaylon Gradick ended the year in second with 270, Randy Rencher finished third with 261 and the Twins Performance team ended up fourth with 251 tallies.

The Texas Automatic Outlaws will be back in 2012 with a few tweaks to the rules package, and more doorslammin’ outlaw action in the Lone Star State.
