The semi finals quickly became the finals as Meadors was DQ’d for oiling the track, leaving Burbage to face Maggio. Burbage used a quick reaction time (.020) to beat Maggio in the lights.

Rick Snavely continued his winning ways in his Mustang by being the #1 quailifier (6.744) and flying past Rom Weems’ 2007 GTO in the finals with a 6.820/215.79 to 7.006/194.49 for Weems.

The ’72 Camaro of Al Jimenez finished first at 7.58/193.93 over the ’73 Camaro of #1 qualifier Bryant Campbell who had trouble with a wheelstand and slowed to an 8.442 at 183.37 mph.
