FAUL REPEATS WIN AT INFINEON

For the second year in a row, Mark Faul, Tacoma, Wash., brought home a win on the July 24 in Super Stock during the Pacific division’s NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event presented by Korbel at Infineon Raceway. Faul faced Brian McClanahan, Alta Loma, Calif., in the finals where his ’98 Grand Am was victorious against McClanahan’s ’67 Camaro. Prior to this win, Faul has made three prior appearances in the finals this season, including a win at South Georgia Motorsports Park.

Driving from Tehachapi, Calif., Scott McClay earned his first win of the year in Comp Eliminator over Michael Stone, Tulare, Calif. McClay topped off his final run with a perfect light in addition to his win.
