Harold drove his black AA/Fuel Altered Bantam in the final round to beat the Lake Charles, Louisiana based team of  Kevin & John Boussard.  Harold’s 4.0457 ET @ 165.44 bested John Boussard’s 4.1844 ET @ 178.93. With Harold leaving first with a .4082” second reaction time, Boussard could not catch his 13 MPH faster top end speed. The fans went crazy with the close side by side racing.

In the “B” class, last year’s winner returned again to win the prize money. The husband and wife team of Howard and Melody Knowles of Carthage, Missouri returned to the winners circle after beating Bill Seals of Raytown, Missouri. Both Howard and Bill have raced each other quite often. Bill Seals handed the win over to Howard via a big red eye on the tree. Not one to sidle down the track, Knowles still put his foot into the run with a 4.3007 ET @ 163.93 with his Mopar 440 powered altered to catch Seals red lighting 4.559 ET @ 151.92 MPH.
