Factory Stock was probably the closest points battle of the heads-up classes coming into this event, with no less than four contenders for the championship among the eleven class participants. It also turned out to be the quickest qualified field the class has ever seen, with the top four drivers all in the ten-second zone. At the end of Saturday’s qualifying, Carlos Sobrino led the pack with a 10.90 at over 122 mph. As the ladder dwindled, contenders were not only eliminated from competition, but also from championship contention. In the final, only Louis Sylvester, Jr. and Brian Campbell remained. As the tree dropped, Campbell took an early lead and held on to it all the way down the track, taking the win. However, the way the points worked out, Carlos Sobrino secured his first championship in Factory Stock with the 2011 title.

A special class for this race was the Posi Performance Terminator/GT500 Shootout. Joe Logan led the field in qualifying with an 8.34 at 171 mph. In eliminations, Logan met Tim Oswalt in the final where Logan streaked to an 8.23 at 176 and the win over an ailing Oswalt.

Open Comp is always a tough fight, and Gordon Harlow cut a perfect triple-zero light to take the top qualifier spot. In eliminations, Jon M. Pickering met Wade Vincent in the final. Apickerin put together a stout .022-second package to take the win and secure the 2011 Open Comp championship.

In Modular Muscle, Reggie Burnette, Jr. secured the top spot going into eliminations with a .004-second reaction time. En route to the final, Burnette clinched the 2011 class championship before meeting Randy Mounce. As the tree came down on the final pair, the newly-crowned champ lit the red bulb, handing Mounce the event win.

Truck and Lightning was lead into eliminations by Gary Windsor with a .002-second reaction time for the top qualifier honors. In eliminations Mike Motycka met Dave Cole in the final, where Cole ran an 11.23 on an 11.20 index for the win, while the points worked out to crown Steve Martin the 2011 Truck and Lightning class champion.

In Super Stang, Al Miller made it through the 23-car field to the final round where he faced George Dockery. In a reaction time victory, Al Miller took the event win and the 2011 Super Stang championship.
