The last of the classes of the event was All Motor Sport.  James Wilder came inform Las Vegas for this event and piloted his ’93 Civic into the number one spot with an 11.453 E.T. at 110.02 mph.  He too would walk away with low E.T. and top speed in his class.

Even though this event only got through one round of eliminations, the fans got to see some good import racing.  They also got to see some t-n-t passes made by several of the Summit ET drivers and a couple of Jr. Dragsters all preparing for upcoming events.

The Summit ET Series kicks off 2012 on January 21-22.  The following weekend, January 28-29, the kids rule the track as the Jr. Drags hold their season opener.  Then the first weekend of February is the NHRA Street Legal Drags, where anyone can race the strip and not the street.  For more information on these events or any event held at The Auto Club Dragway you can visit their website at www.autoclubspeedway.com.
