Scialpi Sweeps the Street

John Scialpi (near lane) edged Jeremy Hanger in the Pro Street final.

Ever since John Scialpi transformed his Pro Street ‘57 BelAir back to his original gunmetal grey he has been on a terror! Just a month ago he swept top honors at the NMCA event in Pomona, Calif., and he was runner up to Mike Maggio at the last PSCA event. He and his sons, Kenny and John Jr., not only set Low ET during qualifying at 6.240 and 221.27 mph, but he took home the Pro Street trophy over a very tough Jeremy Hanger.

Doug Sikora, who has been on fire in Outlaw 10.5, continued his pace with his Apple Valley, California-based Mustang too. Las Vegas had its major share of winners in the sportsman classes, so read on.
