PRO STREET

With no Mike Maggio on hand, Scialpi and company led the way in this very short field of only three entries. After Jeremy Hanger eliminated the only local PS entry of Troy Cafaro and Scialpi singled, it was going to be a fantastic race with both of these entries running in the 6.30s and .40s consistently.

With the first hint of green, Gentleman John Scialpi was out first and held his ground running a 6.507, 221.27 mph to just barely edge out the Stude at a very close 6.474, 210 mph.

Hanger walked away with the top speed honors at 228.38 mph.

OUTLAW 10.5

Doug Sikora broke both ends of the Outlaw 10.5 class records at 6.50 and 218 mph.

Five of the top competitors in Outlaw 10.5 were on hand for the mild October weather in Sin City, instead of the 100-plus temps the racers dealt with last month. Doug Sikora ran a 6.507 at 220.73 mph for the top honor in both qualifying and they stood for the entire event.
