In 7.0 PRO, Montana’s Chuck Roark, driving his Altered 1923 T, defeated Troy Sitko, who towed all the way from Edmonton, Alberta. Roark, who was also the #1 qualifier, ran a 7.047 at 181.20 mph to Sitko’s 7.093 at 192.49 mph in the final round.

In Nostalgia Eliminator 1, Tony Wimer (near) of Redlands, Calif. (7.708/157.95 mph) defeated Hans Jakob of Ontario, Calif. (7.731/172.19 mph) in the final.  Low qualifier Dale Taros (7.701 ET) went out in the second round with a red light start to Tim Brown’s ’46 Fiat.

Alex Barrett makes a burnout in his family’s “Rocketeer” ’70 Barracuda where he qualified #8. Barrett went out in Round 2 to eventual class winner Tony Wimer.

In NE 2, Fresno’s Cecil Molina took his ’23 T to defeat number one qualifier Todd Maas of Lindsay, California. Molina ran a 8.756 at 145.00 mph to a slower 8.811 at 144.60 mph for Maas.
