Pecht took out hard hitting Mark Kidd, who defeated his son Rayce in the semi-finals, and Thomas took out Jerry Forrey. Super Pro winner Pecht nearly pulled off the double-double as he reached the semis in Pro.

Two more Pro Mod sessions were run on Saturday and Rod Burbage went to the head of the pack with a great 6.20-second run to take the pole from Dan Nickelson who ran 6.22 earlier in the session.

Third was Andy Neyer who was consistently in the 6.60s with a best of 6.64, followed by Tommy Johanns with a trouble plagued 7.85.
