Bob Rahaim

Bob Rahaim who is from Michigan and considers U.S. 131 his home ADRL track, Rahaim and his crew delivered an incredible performance in front of a huge gathering of the team’s friends and family. He captured the number-one qualifying spot with a then career best 3.80 and then went on to better that performance on race day with a 3.797 at 197.10 mph winning effort after yet another rain delay in a final round matchup against Montana racer Pat Stoken, who was also trying to get his first ADRL win.

In the finals Stoken left first with a .047 RT followed closely by Rahaim who had a .051 RT. Stoken’s advantage at the starting line disappeared when Rahaim motored by him on a 3.797/197.10 pass to Stoken’s game 3.936/188.55 effort.

“I can say my life is complete,’ Rahaim said after the win. “I've always wanted to win one of these races and I've always wanted to do it at my home track with everybody here in person.”

Rahaim dedicated the win to crew chief Kevin Bowen after Bowen was recently hospitalized.
