In the final round Bowman and Joe Lepone Jr. faced off for the win and the Wally. Lepone’s 6.23 to Bowman’s 6.61 decided the match and Bowman found himself in the runner up spot.

In Mickey Thompson True Ten 5, an unusual red light for former champion Al Jimenez meant a short weekend and a round win for Cole Dow. Top qualifier Rick Snavely took the round one bye and faced off against Steve Kuhls in the second for a win. Mark Luton took the next bye in the finals before red lighting to Snavely in the finals. 

Procharger 275 drag radial action began with a first round win for James Lawrence who put Armen Maghdessian back on the trailer right out of the gate. Mike Orban was first round fodder for the capable Kevin Young while his brother Jeff went out early against Artis Houston. Round two saw the surviving Young brother turn the afterburners on against Lawrence, clocking a 7.39 to Lawrence’s 8.14. In the final, Young took the stripe first putting Houston in the runner-up spot.
