PRO SLAMMERS: John Durden’s ’58 Corvette once again took the win, this time around he took out #1 Qualifier Randy Walker in his nitrous El Camino. Durden’s 0.043, 6.415 at 228.54 mph bettered Walker’s 0.044, 6.535 at 191.62. 

6.90 SLAMMERS: Tony Jurado in his ’69 Camaro was #1 Qualifier with a 6.99 at 198 mph. He faced the ‘64 GTO of Justin Wake in the finals and took the win once again with a 7.01/199 to 7.11/198.

B/GAS (8.60): (Saturday) DLRE #1 Qualifier was Tom Fowler with an 8.602. Richard Deuschelle took the win over Brian Rogers with a 0.023, 8.649/108 to 0.046, 8.580/154 mph. (Sunday) #1 Qualifier was Doug Crumlich with 8.604. He also took the win over Jim Stewart 0.031, 8.616/153 to Stewart’s 0.019, 8.595/157.

C/GAS (9.60): (Saturday) #1 Qualifier was Jason Barta with a 9.603. Paul Weichmann’s 0.002, 9.612/129 took the win over Barta’s too quick 0.029, 9.594/136 mph. (Sunday) #1 Qualifier was Mike O’Neal with 9.602. Mike Williams took the win over Ed DeStaute 0.015, 9.638/138 to 0.056, 9.607/139 mph.    

D/GAS (10.60): (Saturday) #1 Qualifier was Hugo Casal with a 10.603. Josh Conrad took the Win over Wesley Eisenga .011 10.652at127 to .054 10.651at127 mph. (Sunday) #1 Qualifier was Jeff Kleeman with 10.609, who also prevailed in the final round over Ron DeHoop 0.055, 10.592/129 to 0.012 10.574/119 mph.

E/GAS (11.60): (Saturday) Chris Schmidl was #1 Qualifier with a 11.646. Jeff Beck defeated Schmidl in the final round with a 0.123, 11.683/113 to 0.154, 11/698/112 mph. (Sunday) #1 Qualifier was Dustin Lee with an 11.616. Lee also took the win with a 0.109, 11.684/107 over Tony De Azavedo’s 0.141, 11.757/105 mph

SUPER PRO: Starting with 27 cars in first round each day, it was Cameron Fauset dominating the weekend with a “double up” effort! On Saturday Fauset defeated Steve Casner 0.007, 7.529 (7.52 dial) to 0.035, 8.042 (8.05 dial). On (Sunday) Fauset defeated Kenny Snow with a nearly perfect 0.001 RT, 7.550 (7.55) to 0.018, 9.693 (9.70). 

PRO: Started with 44 cars. On Saturday it was Mike Andrada taking the win over Matt Fritts 0.062, 10.300 (10.27) to 0.170, 10.137(10.17). Sunday Franky Sisemore took the win over Gerard Halle with a 0.078, 11.884 (11.92) over Halle’s redlighting  -0.030, 9.561 (9.55).

SPORTSMAN: There were 27 cars in first round each day. Saturday C.W Hoefer got the win with a 0.036, 12.075 (12.09) against a redlighting Wesley Johnson -0.014, 14.008 (13.99). On Sunday Hoefer met up with Adrian Van Doorn and come up short. Adrian took the win 0.031, 12.215 (12.16) over Hoefer’s too quick 0.089, 12.229 (12.23).

MOTORCYCLE: Starting with 14 bikes in Round One, on Saturday Clayton Howey got the win with a 0.094, 9.018 (9.00) over a breaking out Brian Webb’s 0.065 9.431 (9.44). On Sunday it was another Howey in the final again; this time, though, it was Brian Howey who took out Terry Rollin 0.069, 9.601 (9.55) over Rollin’s 0.162, 9.461 (9.43).

SUPER ELIMINATOR: The 7.90 Index class also ran both days. Saturday Krista Suydam was the winner (and on Sunday it was Don Gatlin over Michael Piraino. No info on ETs.

OPEN COMP: Hugo Casal and his ’69 Dart bested all comers and defeated a red-lighting Dustin Lee in the final round 0.117, 10.636 (10.56) to -0.022, 11.581 (11.60).
