Pro Mods meet Super Chevy Show
The West Coast Outlaw Pro Modifieds joined in for the recent Super Chevy Show at Auto Club Famoso Raceway with a dozen quick doorcars as a feature for GM faithful.
Three rounds of qualifying found Mike Maggio at the top in his newly acquired Tim McAmis-built ’69 Camaro with supercharged power by Kirk Kuhns. In Friday testing, Maggio ran in the 5.80’s and led qualifying with a third round 5.891 ET at 253.04 mph pass, moving Rod Burbage and his new Camaro to number two running a 6.026 ET at 242.23 mph.
