The Gasser Circus gathers pace each and every year, and Martyn Hallam’s Whiplash Willys has acquired some sparkling paint between last year’s event and this edition and was high stepping it’s way into the mid tens throughout the weekend.

The Wild Bunch were, as to be expected, out in force at Dragstalgia and PBs seemed to fall out all over the place. Dick Sharp and the Dorset Horn, racking up their 40th year of competition, were among these with a 9.36 best wrung from the injected Pontiac power plant that was definitely non-standard equipment in Austin A35s when they emerged from the factory.

Darryl Howells (Left) picked up the spot award for best wheelstand of the weekend, whilst Sarah was awarded BUG of the weekend (wearing her mother’s wedding dress), and added a PB at both ends from the Chemical Reaction slingshot 9.389/141.
