CONCLUSION

The national finals for the 2013 Mickey Thompson Tires DragRacingOnline.com AA/FC Challenge presented by Comp Cams at Tulsa offered everything a nitro race fan could ask for and more.

The ticket price was under $30 with a $12 ticket to watch two rounds of nitro Funny Car and nitro dragsters Friday night. The racing was close and exciting. They saw three rounds of nitro racing, Funny Car, Fuel Dragsters, cackle cars, pin-up girls and a rock and roll band and it was all done in just over four hours beginning at 6 p.m. with Saturday night’s first round. This event is traditionally the last race of the DRO AA/FC season and has determined the series champ every year.
