Las Vegas had been very good to Erica Enders-Stevens this year. In March she won the K&N Challenge and got extra money by also winning the NHRA event. Now she has won her second Nationals of the year, knocking out points leader Jason Line in the semifinals and then beating five-time Pro Stock champion Jeg Coughlin Jr.
The victory was the fifth of the season and 11th of her career, and it vaulted her into the Pro Stock points lead with one race remaining in the season.
