Noted Ford collector Bob Perkins was in the center of the Boss 429 Invitational (which feature a Boss ‘9 in every color); Perkins had the twin-turbo Boss Mustang of Ohio George Montgomery on hand, as well as Ohio George himself, who signed autographs all weekend.

Of course, an invitational for the 50th anniversary of the Hemi would be popular; here were two 1964 racecars that took part in it, a Dodge called the “The High and the Mighty”, and a Plymouth that was once raced by Pee Wee Wallace.
