Yes, there are a lot of nice muscle cars, but few have the unique story of this black 1970 Hemi ’Cuda owned by collector Bruce Bartie. Actually a true survivor car, Bartie finally earned the trust of the first owner enough to be able to buy the home-modified speed parts the Plymouth had been raced with in the very early 1970s.


One more for our Mopar race fans – Len Grimsley Sr. and Jr. had this pair of Plymouths on hand in the 1964 section. The two cars were raced by 15-year-old Hank Taylor, first a Max Wedge, then a Hemi. Both have survived in great shape, despite the fact that young Hank was taking his buddies to high school in the Maxie once the Hemi arrived on the scene!
