A favorite part for most MCACN attendees is the Barn Finds/Hidden Gems section, which was bursting with race iron this year. Here were a couple of highlights. The “Lost Boss”, a Boss 429 that once been given to Dave Lyall who in turn gave it to a man who had helped on his more famous Boss ‘9 AHRA Super Stocker in 1969. It was just as it had been parked in the 1970s.

A 1962 Corvette gassers with a dual-quad Chevy small block built by none other than Truppi-Kling of New Jersey, running and still in period paint.

“El Malo”, a W31 Oldsmobile that turned up in an actual barn and showed its year; the car ran out of the southeast back in the day.
