Greg Anderson made it to the final round in Pro Stock, but Jeg Coughlin Jr. put an end to his comeback story. Coughlin defeated his Mopar teammate, Allen Johnson, in the first round and put Erica Enders-Stevens out of the running for the 100th woman NHRA win at this event in the second round. Coughlin defeated Anderson’s teammate, Jason Line, in the semifinal. Coughlin, Left lane, (0.010) 6.558 211.63 def. Anderson, (0.003) 6.588 212.13.

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, the Harleys returned to their winning ways with Eddie Krawiec getting the nod over Andrew Hines. Again the left lane provided the win with Krawiec, (0.041) 6.806 197.45 def.
