Victory Nostalgia Super Stocks at St. Louis

Thirty of the top Nostalgia Super Stock racers in the country ignored the weatherman and rolled into Gateway Motorsports Park for the prestigious Nitro Rendezvous event May 9-10. The competitors, representing seven states, were rewarded with a beautiful race day and great track conditions.

Headlining with the Victory NSS Series were the Nitro Funny Cars of the Hedman Husler Hedders DRO AA/FC Challenge as well as the newly formed Nostalgia Drag Racing League. The stage was set for a great Saturday of nostalgia drag racing and the large crowd was not disappointed!

Thanks to the support of a wonderful group of sponsors, several awards were given to the some of the Victory group prior to Eliminations. As usual, qualifying was highly contested and by only .002 of a second, 2013 Champion Tom Hoffman grabbed the coveted #1 position over 2012 Champion Russ Berens. Hoffman was rewarded with $100 courtesy of Muscle Motors and a first-round bye.

Series newcomer Khory Rideout was lucky enough to receive free Race Entry thanks to Englehart Performance.
