OUTLAW 8.5

The VIVA/SPEEDWIRE sponsored class is proving to be very competitive with many different combos running within hundredths and even thousandths of each other! We saw two racers in Vegas that didn’t compete at the season opener, both took full advantage of the double points event and plan on chasing the points championship in 2014 as well as the EDELBROCK Shootout cash bonus! Dan Hale and Mike Saiki battled it out all day for the DLRE #1 Qualifier Bonus. Both Racers ran identical e.t.s of 5.333 and it was Dan Hale taking the #1 in his Mechanix Wear MMR TTCoyote Powered Fox Body with the higher mph of 138.53, beating Saiki out by just 1 mph! In the #2 spot was Mike Saiki’s 5.333 @ 137 in his Motivational Eng. SBC N2o powered ‘72 Corvette. #3 Chad McGee 5.430 @ 132 in his CMRacing Hot Rod Performance Powered BBC N2O Fox Body. #4 Ben Davidow’s 5.574 @ 138 in the “Team Temporary” Turbocharged SBF Powered Mustang. #5 Freddy “It’s all” Bueno  6.262 @ 124 in his DLRE N/A BBC Powered 63 Chevy II. #6 Brian Greenberg’s  6.437 @ 109 in his LPC Racing SBF N2o Powered ‘64 Ford Fairlane street car.
