It should be noted that at the previous NHRA Pro Mod race at Houston there were just three nitrous cars in the top ten Pro Mod qualifiers and at Englishtown there was just one.

The next stop for the NHRA series is Bristol in the mountains of Tennessee on June 13-15. That track is just under 1500 feet above sea level and the supercharged and turbocharged cars should have an advantage over the nitrous cars. The question of the day is if at Bristol Kevin Fiscus, who qualified number one at E-town, has a great day and “runs the table” or a supercharger racer runs a string of 5.70’s, will the NHRA penalize them with added weight?
