In the five-year history of the Dave Duell Classic race for Nostalgia Super Stock cars no one has won the race twice until Kevin Gass defeated all comers in an ultra-tough 67-car field this May as the race returned home. This year the race was held as part of the NMCA Nationals at the newly re-opened Gateway Motorsports Park located in Madison, Ill., just across the Mississippi River from downtown St. Louis, MO.
