EDRS Pro Super Twin Bike

The bikes in Tierp were running outside of the FIM-Europe championship that we have covered for much of the season, contesting instead a Nordic focused EDRS Pro series and a possible prelude to a looming split in the European scene across two and four wheels. Nonetheless the action was pretty spectacular with fifteen entries in the nitro Super Twin class taking shots at making the eight bike field with Finn Harri Piensalmi picking up the event win over compatriot Ismo Mäenpää, with both recording new PBs on their way through the elimination ladder (6.633 and 6.870 respectively) and Piensalmi lighting the win light with a 6.869 after Mäenpää broke his ride at the hit of the throttle.
