After three rounds of qualifying and 1 round of eliminations in the books, the Victory members and crew settled in for a group meal and awards ceremony. As usual, the comaraderie and fellowship of this group made for a great night.

Sunday morning came with another cool crisp fall day, and the excitement level in the Victory Pits was high as everyone knew that the Championship would be decided today. Round 2 of Victory NSS Eliminations were the first down the track.

Clay Kossuth received the Dave Duell Classic Patriot Award for his service to the country.

The first pair featured Russ Berens vs Clay Kossuth in a heads up 10.00 index match up. Berens took a very close win in this battle of past Champions. Next up was Mike Volkart and his Chevelle hoping to keep his Championship dreams alive against the tough Mopar of Marc Kuhn. Kuhn turned on the win light in a tight double break-out race.

Marc Kuhn was the Jeff's Northshore Autobody & Trailer Sales #1 Mopar at Byron.

Jim Hagenhoff’s wheel-standing Hemi Plymouth took out the Wedge powered Dodge of Tom Gaines. Dennis Eudaley’s stellar .002 reaction defeated Jeff Frees.

Randy VanHook received the TTI Exhaust Racer of the Year Award.

Newly crowned Racer of the year, Randy VanHook defeated Bob Lantero. Dan Beale kept the Championship Drama alive with a victory over Shaun Johnston. BJ Bax and his popular Pontiac defeated Don Bruemmer’s high flying Hemi Mopar. Kevin Miller rolled past Phil Cathey in an all-Mopar match. Finally, 2013 Champion Tom Hoffman had a bye run into the third round courtesy of his qualifying position.
