Legendary announcer Ron Leak applauded the professionalism of the Victory racers and how fast and smoothly they accomplished their runs. The Super Stockers quickly made three qualifying runs and in the end, three racers made .00 runs off their Indexes. Tom Hoffman came out on top with his 11.001 pass on his 11.00 index. With the Ladder set, the vintage muscle cars moved into Eliminations.

Tom Hoffman earned the Muscle Motors #1 Qualifier Award.

All eyes were on the three Drivers that were locked in a virtual tie for the Championship, Russ Berens [2014 Champion], Dan Beale [2011 Champion] and Mike Volkart. All three posted victories in the first round, with Beale leading the way with an impressive .013 light.
