CONCLUSION

There is no doubt that this is perhaps the premier race in the world for “small tire” cars. Over 400 entries from all over the U.S., Canada, and even an entry from Australia paid to race at fabulous SGMP.

Race promoter and leader of this class of racing, Don Long, promotes his race fairly well before but after the race other than the qualifying and results sheet posted on a couple of internet sites there is little real info about the race, racers or their sponsors. It is almost as if the promoter of this great race doesn’t want his races or racers getting the attention in the mainstream race media it deserves.
